Parking Lot into work?
2 Hour drive to work today... at least I had my iPod, NASTY weather, they need to get the snow removal service up to full strength, that was horrible.

Hmm, I got to work on time... I walked. Everyone should walk to help save the environmental crisis that the world potentially faces.... Jeesh, think of all the gas that was wasted and pollution that was created -- all because the city didn't plough.
If I walked to work, I would have to spend all day and all night walking.
I heard that one of our friends who lives in Orleans and works at Carleton took 3 hours to get to work...

Maybe you should focus your energy of your rant not only on your blog, but to the people who can make a difference.
Aka, the SNOW PATROL!!! Give them some extra cash when you see them next and arrange to have an escort service of snow removal vehicles.
Better yet...seeing that this won't be too effective given that you're the only person going there...have them clear out a route all the way to your work. Others be damned.
